Working Artist Application
Working Artists are professionals who navigate dual identities—administrative professionals by day, practicing artists always. You might be a gallery administrator, museum staff member, university employee, arts organization coordinator, or nonprofit arts worker who maintains an active artistic practice alongside your professional role.
This exhibition celebrates the symmetry between your professional contributions to the arts community and your personal creative journey.
Eligibility Criteria
Currently employed in an administrative, curatorial, academic, or operational role within the arts/cultural sector
Maintain an active personal artistic practice
Mid-career or actively practicing artists
Based in Metro Atlanta or South Fulton area
BIPOC artists strongly encouraged to apply
What to Submit
Artist Statement (500 words max) - Describe your artistic practice and how it relates to your professional role
Professional Resume/CV - Highlighting both your administrative position and artistic trajectory
Portfolio (5-10 images) - Recent work that reflects your artistic vision
Bio (150 words) - Brief professional and artistic background
Administrative Role Description (200 words) - What you do in your day job and how it connects to your artistic identity

Rising Artist Application
Who Are Rising Artists?
Rising Artists are college students and emerging talents in Metro Atlanta who are at the beginning of their artistic journey. This program is designed to provide mentorship, exhibition experience, and professional connections that can help launch your career.
Through the "Rising Artist Spotlight" program, you'll be paired with an established Working Artist for structured engagement including introductory conversations, shared practices, critiques, and potential collaborations.
Eligibility Criteria
Current college student or recent graduate (within 2 years)
Based in Metro Atlanta area
HBCU students strongly encouraged
Emerging artists actively developing their practice
Available for mentorship programming and exhibition participation
What to Submit
Artist Statement (300 words max) - Describe your artistic vision and goals
Academic Background - School, program, expected/actual graduation date
Portfolio (3-7 images) - Your best recent work
Bio (100 words) - Brief background and artistic interests
Why This Exhibition? (200 words) - What you hope to gain from participating and being mentored
